Vasa Museum, STOCKHOLM (Sweden)

The Vasa battleship sunk in 1628. I’m sure there were thousands of other battleships that sunk, but this one sunk on the first trip close to the beach. It was conserved in the mud, so when it was raised in 1961 it was in quite good shape. Now it is in a museum in Stockholm.
